Hello again.

Once more my quest for details has led me to creating a reference chart for myself for writing fanfiction. In this case, which characters wear which clothing in The World Ends With You. If you're interested, you can read it over on my own journal, here.

In the meantime, the Food Preference reference I posted previously has been cleaned up, and formatted as a table now.

I hope someone else finds it useful!

There isn't much that excites me about games these days (well, apart from the Kinect dancing games), but I was quite pleased when I heard that Arc System Works are developing a new Contra game for PSN and XBLA; in high res 2D at that:

While new scrolling shoot 'em ups are still being made and are taking the genre in new directions, it always seemed to me that the run 'n' gun game is a genre that was never allowed to be brought to fruition. I'm interest to see what Arc can achieve taking advantage of modern hardware in the same way that they do with their 2D beat 'em ups.

I'm trying out Nier for the PS3 (not impressed), will be getting 3D Dot Heroes today in the mail (hoping it's good), and am occasionally messing with Civilization IV. Basically, it all comes down to waiting for Super Mario Galaxy 2.

I let my partner try Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure and what he really likes about it is the Puzzle Realm part on the bottom screen where you match three (or more) blocks and they disappear. (He could care less about the platforming part of the game. Heh.)

Are there any good puzzle games for the DS with a similar gameplay style? Planet Puzzle League and Zoo Keeper sound like good possibilities, but I figured I'd ask and see if anyone had any recs.

areyougame is a fiction and art fest for the video gaming community.

The way it works:

This July, the community takes open prompts from members of the community for a couple weeks. After prompting closes, we open up to claiming, where you can claim a prompt to either write or create artwork.

In August, we open up the community for posting so that you can show off your shiny new fiction or art.

All prompts must be for game fandoms and their franchises. Some examples include (but are not limited to):

Castlevania, Devil May Cry, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, Guild Wars, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, Magna Carta, Odin Sphere, Persona 3, Phantasy Star, Phoenix Wright, Silent Hill, Star Ocean, Suikoden, Valkirie Profile, World of Warcraft, Xenosaga, and many more.

There is no limit to the amount of prompts you can request and there is no writing/artwork participation requirement.

It's official! Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is "making its way to the west this winter!"

In this point-and-click adventure, Edgeworth investigates crime scenes in order to find the truth, presenting contradictions to material witnesses as they occur. Edgeworth can use a "logic" mode to determine connections between two pieces of evidence. When sufficient evidence has been gathered, Edgeworth faces down the suspect!
